Job summary

Amrize is seeking a QC Lab Technician to join our materials testing team in McKinney, TX. You will collect aggregate and concrete samples, perform routine tests, and maintain accurate data in our quality reporting system.

The role requires a two-year technical degree (or equivalent experience), basic math and computer skills, and the ability to obtain ACI certifications as needed. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree preferred or three years in QC testing of construction materials in lieu of education.
• Basic math skills and statistics knowledge required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain ACI concrete and aggregate certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect aggregate samples and perform routine testing (gradations, washes, moisture).
• Conduct basic concrete QC tests (slump, air, temperature, cylinders, unit weight).
• Test concrete strength specimens and assist in lab batches.
• Enter data into quality reporting system and calibrate lab equipment.
