Job summary

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) is seeking a QC Lab Technician to support cGMP drug product testing and sample processing on the 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift at our Patterson facility.

You will perform basic physical tests, manage inventory, and document results while maintaining a clean, compliant laboratory environment and following SOPs.

Strong attention to detail and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) and/or applicable professional experience.
• Knowledge of quality control and assurance principles in pharma/biopharma/biotech manufacturing environments.
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all laboratory safety guidelines, both written and implied.
• Inform management of any safety concerns and maintain safety standards.
• Support the daily operations of the laboratory as needed.
• Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations and SOPs.
• Stock and maintain laboratory supplies and manage inventory levels.
• Maintain laboratory environment in orderly, operable condition.
• Perform basic laboratory testing, sample and standard preparation, reagent preparation and maintenance.
• Document generation and filing for QC laboratory.

This position is located out of our Patterson facility on 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm, M-F).

Overview of this Position:

The QC Lab Technician supports quality systems as they relate to the manufacturing and testing of cGMP drug products. These duties will include but are not limited to providing general laboratory support for sampling of raw material, incoming stability and finished product sample processing, basic physical testing, and inventory administration.

• Use of appropriate respiratory equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Document generation and filing for QC laboratory.
• Produce accurate and timely deliverables following appropriate laboratory procedures.
