Mallard Creek Polymers is seeking a qualified QC Lab Technician to join our team.

What you do: Our ideal teammate has work-related experience with the following
- Conduct these on-going tests according to established procedures:
- Solids
- Viscosity
- pH
- Grit
- Particle size
- Film tests
- Froth
- Density
- Gas Chromatography
- Styrene-butadiene ratio checks
- Surface tension
- Biological tests
- Product Blends
- Manual COA generation when necessary
- On-site truck dispatch
- Distribution of logistic paperwork for deliveries (in-coming and out-going)
- Participate in regular training assessments per the QC Lab Supervisor.
- Others as requested or required
- Input data and maintain accurate records of tests on worksheets and computer database
- Perform weekly calibration checks on lab instruments and records data
- Perform clerical tasks as required to release shipments to customers, to communicate OOS data, and to perform/complete all necessary checklists for product blends and other miscellaneous tests.
- Retain samples in an organized manner.
- Pull and test retains for customer complaints.
- Interpret test results and communicate results as soon as possible.
- Serve as primary contact with drivers picking up or dropping trailers, including creation and distribution of required paperwork
- Accountable to training Quality Control Technicians
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:

- Interpret and communicate test results
- Demonstrate an ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
- Utilize Microsoft Office, JDE, and Bizzmine effectively and with ease
- 1+ years of prior lab testing experience
- Effective communication skills (written and oral); customer-oriented (internal and external)
- Proficiency in basic math (including rounding and percentages)
- Prefer a 2yr/4yr Chemistry degree
- Prefer ASQ Certification
Work Schedule:12-hour shifts, 2/2/3 Schedule, Days
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
