Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join the precast concrete manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves testing, strict quality checks, and collaborating with Production and Quality teams to ensure product conformance.

You will read blueprints, perform measurements, and maintain lab and testing areas while documenting findings in computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/production drawings.
• Comfortable with basic math, measurements and calculations.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Dependable and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production.
• Conduct testing and inspections of raw materials, products, and processes.
• Accurately record and enter quality information into computer systems.
• Identify and report quality issues and work with teams to resolve them.
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Perform measurements, calculations, and basic testing procedures.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve materials, processes, and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and testing area.
• Work closely with production and yard teams to complete inspections and testing in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
