Job summary

American Concrete Products is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform and document inspections of precast concrete products. The role involves evaluating dimensions, tolerances, aesthetics, and interpreting piece tickets and drawings.

You will also test materials, maintain QC records, and help ensure safety and quality across production. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-pour inspection of all forms, reinforcement, steel and inserts, in a timely manner to maintain optimized work flow and assists in finding ways to decrease delays and rework.
• Maintains daily and project production records.
• Checks and verifies all dimensions of cast-in embeds.
• Completes daily Quality Control documentation.
• Inspects all finished product and documents and follows up on any precast product that requires patching or rework.
• Ensures that all precast products are correctly marked.
• Assists other Quality Control personnel in testing of materials and finished products as required.
• Maintains plant and yard safety in accordance with Company Safety Manual and under the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
