Ortec is expanding its lab operations in Easley, SC. We seek a laboratory technician to perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, maintain instruments, and assist chemists and engineers in a fast-paced environment.
You will monitor product quality, conduct experiments, and document results. The role requires a High School GED or higher, with a B.S. in Chemistry/Biology/Science preferred, and a 12-hour rotating shift.

Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials for purposes, such as research and development of new products or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry and related sciences.
Must be able to work the following work schedule
12 hour rotating shift position.
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m./7:30 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
