Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an analytical lab.
• At least 3 years of lab supervisory and statistical experience.
• Excellent communication skills across organization levels.
• Able to work third shift 8pm–6:30am, Mon-Thu.
• Experience with MS Access and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and prioritize workloads.
• Analyze QC samples with chemists to support production.
• Be main contact to support manufacturing and engineering processes.
• React to non-standard, OOC and OOS conditions from manufacturing.
• Promote and enforce safety and EHS practices.
• Support R&D metrology with GR&R and instrument troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor QC chemists as needed.
• Maintain instrument health and arrange maintenance.
• Handle order administration for the lab areas.
• Conduct performance reviews and scheduling.
