Job summary

Oxygen Development seeks a Quality Control Laboratory Manager – Industrial Chemistry to lead the IC Lab supporting Cosmetic, OTC, and Nutrition manufacturing. You will oversee raw material testing, bulk testing, standard management, color matching, and product release activities.

You will drive OFA color approvals, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain compliant laboratory documentation under GMP/FDA. Collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, QA, and suppliers is essential to deliver timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 6+ years in Cosmetic/OTC/Nutrition manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with color matching/evaluation and bulk shade approvals.
• Experience with raw material testing, disposition, and release.
• Experience managing standards, supplier COAs, and controlled laboratory documentation.
• Experience calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Experience GMP, FDA, GLP, NCRs, deviations, CAPA, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC lab operations for raw material and bulk testing and release.
• Review dispositions and ensure timely release within 48 hours when applicable.
• Manage standards and color approval processes (OFA color and in-house).
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement, QA to resolve issues.
• Oversee equipment readiness, calibration, maintenance, and documentation.
• Support audits and CAPA investigations and risk assessments.
• Report KPIs in PDCA weekly and monthly scorecards.
