Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Scientist – QC Laboratory Informatics to support laboratory IT systems and data integrity in a GMP environment. The role involves configuring and validating systems such as LabVantage LIMS, Empower, MODA, NuGenesis ELN and SDMS, and collaborating with IT and Quality teams to ensure compliant data management.

You will mentor peers, assist with audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, life science, or applied science.
• IT systems experience including installation and qualification of laboratory IT systems and data population.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a GMP laboratory.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship).
• Experience with LIMS and ELN systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Validate laboratory equipment and software systems.
• Maintain validated state of software-based laboratory systems.
• Lead deployment and upgrades of QC laboratory IT systems (LIMS/ELN/SDMS).
• Ensure data integrity by design within the QC laboratory.
• Serve as QC laboratory data integrity local representative.
• Support internal/external audits as a laboratory IT SME.
