Job summary

Reliance Vitamin, LLC in Edison, New Jersey seeks a QC Chemist to ensure product quality through laboratory testing, documentation, and collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing teams.

You will test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products per established methods and cGMP requirements, maintain records, support CAPAs, and assist with stability testing and related quality activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline and chemistry preferred.
• Minimum three years of lab or QC experience.
• Knowledge of lab testing procedures and cGMP requirements.
• Ability to read and follow test methods and SOPs.
• Strong math, analytics, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Conduct UPLC testing and support method development.
• Document out-of-spec results and support investigations and CAPAs.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and equipment logs.
• Coordinate maintenance and manage lab supplies.
• Write/update SOPs for QC activities and ensure timely reporting.
