Job summary

WuXi Biologics in Cranbury, NJ is seeking an Associate Scientist for Quality Control PCT. The role supports QC lab operations, reagent preparation, glassware management, and general physicochemical testing support to ensure compliant, inspection-ready labs.

You will work with QC scientists to enable efficient analytical testing, maintain cGMP standards, and help manage reagents, storage, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions according to SOPs and standard practice.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of glassware and equipment.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure inspection readiness at all times.
• Support inventory management and reordering of reagents and consumables.
• Receive, label, and store incoming materials per procedures.
• Track reagent preparation, dating, and storage conditions.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of lab equipment.
• Coordinate equipment calibration and servicing as needed.
• Maintain cleaning and usage logs and equipment documentation.
• Accurately complete laboratory documentation and compliance records.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support audit and inspection readiness with organized records.
• Assist scientists with sample prep and basic physicochemical testing tasks.
• Prepare materials and lab space for routine testing activities.
• Dispose of laboratory waste per safety and environmental procedures.

Education

Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
