Job summary

WuXi Biologics in Cranbury, NJ is hiring a QC Senior Scientist for Micro/RM/Compendial Testing and Sampling. The role ensures quality and on-time completion of microbiology and related testing, ensuring accurate QC deliverables for internal and external clients.

Strong GMP documentation and communication skills are essential. The candidate will perform testing, sampling in cleanrooms, manage materials and sampling storage, and contribute to SOPs and method development.

Qualifications

Requires full-time undergraduate degree or above in biology, chemistry, pharmacy or related field.
Experience levels vary by degree: Bachelor’s 9+ years, Master’s 7+ years, PhD 2+ years.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiology, raw material and compendial testing including FTIR, pH, color, clarity, particles, endotoxin, bioburden.
Follow GMP docs and maintain good documentation practices.
Conduct sampling in cleanroom areas and manage sample storage, retention, and transport.
Generate SOPs, analytical methods, and train junior staff on methods.
Investigate OOS/OOT, perform root cause analysis, and support CAPA.
Communicate results in meetings with project teams and clients.
