About the Job:

The role involves conducting pre-pour and post-pour inspections of concrete products, verifying rebar placement, following NPCA/ASTM specifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating with suppliers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect materials and products for surface defects.
  • Maintain detailed NPCA documentation.
  • Verify dimensions and mark nonconforming products.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with management.
  • Select products for testing at various production stages.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and ensure reliable attendance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Mathematical skills in measurement units.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary systems.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Obtain NPCA PQS Level 1 QA/QC within 3 months.
  • Obtain ACI Field Grade I Concrete Testing and Strength Testing Level I within 6 months.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED; 3-6 months related experience or equivalent education and training.
