Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Quality Inspector with 1–2 years of quality experience to perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections on aerospace components, using precision measuring devices.

You will work with production to ensure conformance to specs, read contracts and drawings, and support continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail and ability to train less skilled staff are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years quality experience preferred.
• Ability to read and apply process specifications and requirements.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and basic inspection tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Open shipping containers and validate packing slips against received products.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to meet delivery plans.
• Read, interpret, and apply customer and contract requirements.
• Ensure parts meet specifications and properly document discrepancies.
• Train lesser skilled employees and support continuous improvement.
