Job description

Position: A P Mechanic with Quality Control (QC) Experience
We are seeking a highly skilled A P Mechanic with a strong background in Quality Control (QC) and supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with commercial jets, particularly Boeing aircraft, and must be open to working any shift.
Experience Bill Rate (50% of original rates):

  • 1 year experience: $30.67
  • 1-3 years experience: $34.67
  • 3-5 years experience: $38
  • 5+ years experience: $42

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance and repair work complies with applicable FAA regulations, technical data, and established procedures.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform and oversee aircraft inspections, flight line operations, and necessary shop work to maintain aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts and materials, ensuring that they meet quality standards and specifications. Document all inspection data and report any irregularities.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts tagging, and work conformity records.
  • Supervision: Provide training, supervision, and orientation to team members, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and effective use of resources.
  • Customer Coordination: Work with customers to gather necessary information and data for ongoing projects.
  • Safety Audits: Conduct facility audits to ensure safety and compliance with company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Chief Inspector in their absence.
  • Make recommendations to management for process improvements, productivity enhancements, or cost-saving measures.
  • Perform maintenance duties during temporary assignments away from the base.
