Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a 1st shift QC Inspector at our Ghent, KY facility. You will conduct incoming inspections, perform dimensional and hardness checks, and prepare documentation for shipped equipment. A $5000 retention bonus is offered, and pre-employment screening is required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and an Industrial Mechanic course or equivalent. Proficiency with measuring tools and MS Office is expected, with emphasis on QA systems and accuracy.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Mechanic course or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA systems beneficial.
• MS Office proficiency needed; basic documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct incoming inspections on machined parts per print and specs.
• Perform dimensional and hardness inspections using appropriate tools.
• Analyze test reports to verify conformity to docs.
• Approve or reject materials and issue inspection reports.
• Maintain calibration and storage of quality tools and equipment.
• Prepare inspection documentation for in-house manufactured or repaired items.
• Generate NCRs for products not meeting standards.
• Comply with all quality, environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Support the Supply Chain Manager with duties as assigned.
• Perform final quality inspection on outgoing equipment per instructions.
