Job summary

Millennium Metalcraft, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards in our sheet metal and machining operations. You will read CAD files and customer schematics, inspect parts, and manage quality documentation.

Responsibilities include RMAs/SCARs, customer communications, and quarterly KPI reporting. The role is in Fremont, CA, with full-time hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a quality control inspector with direct sheet metal experience.
• Familiarity with Unipoint, JobBoss, Keyence, Amada and related QA tools.
• Strong attention to quality, craftsmanship, and process adherence.

Responsibilities

• Read CAD files and customer schematics.
• Inspect parts for dimensional tolerances, craftsmanship and cosmetic defects.
• Analyze parts against customer drawings and CAD files.
• Create and manage RMAs, SCARs, templates, and non-conformances.
• Interface with customers for quality-related issues.
• Prepare quarterly reports on quality KPIs.
• Annual calibration audits.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly logs (machine maintenance, audits, etc.).
• Collaborate with team of craftsmen and craftswomen.

Responsibilities for Quality Control Inspector

• Ability to read CAD Files as well as customer schematics.


• Inspect parts for dimensional tolerances, craftsmanship and cosmetic defects


• Analyze parts against customer provided drawings and CAD files.


• Create and manage RMAs, SCARs, Templates, and Non-Conformances


• Interface with customers for all quality related issues


• Prepare quarterly reports on quality KPIs


• Annual Calibration Audits


• Daily, Weekly, Monthly Logs (Machine Maintenance, Audits etc.)


• Work efficiently and in harmony with a team of talented craftsmen & craftswomen

Qualifications for Quality Control Inspector

• Proven experience as a quality control inspector with direct sheet metal experience.


• Experience with Unipoint, JobBoss, Keyence, Amada etc.


• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications


• Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards


• Strong knowledge about industry products and processes


• Basic mathematical arithmetic


• Excellent oral and communication skills


• Excellent presentation and reporting skills


• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Target Pay $28-$34 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Quarterly Bonus (after successful completion of 90-day probationary period).
