Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, seeks an inspector to ensure that concrete members meet shop card tolerances and PCI requirements. The role involves pre-pour and post-pour inspections, concrete testing, and witnessing stressing to support quality production at our southeastern U.S.

locations. Responsibilities include following safety rules, inspecting reinforcement placement, and notifying engineering for nonconformances.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality rules to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
• Inspect bed set-up according to shop drawings for reinforcement placement and connections.
• Note any nonconforming items and notify proper personnel for conformance.
• Perform concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28-day cylinders.
• Set up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperature.
• Monitor finishing procedures in the finishing shed and inspect final products for conformance.
