Job Description

This position applies advanced knowledge of Quality principles and practices to a broad range of project assignments. This role plans and executes a wide variety of technical and administrative assignments and effectively interacts with others.

  1. Communicate effectively with department and project personnel regarding Quality policies and procedures
  2. Assist in the preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), discipline activity plans for the Quality function, generation of corrective action documents as necessary, verification of corrective actions, and support of surveillance activities when assigned.
  3. Assist (if directed by Quality management) in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required.
  4. Conduct or support the execution of inspection activities within your qualified/certified discipline.
  5. Assess (if directed by senior Quality management) the ability of the contractors to meet the Quality requirements of the project.
  6. Assist in the maintenance of project Quality records for all phases of the project.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.

Other Job Requirements
  • Nuclear construction required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Q clearance if required.
  • Civil/Underground nuclear construction inspection experience.
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Previous certification as a Level II Civil Inspector of concrete and soils in accordance with the requirements of ANSI N45.2.6 or ASME NQA-1-2019.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred.
  • Level II Qualification/Certification in accordance with ANSI N45.2.6 or ASME NQA-1-2019 in multiple inspection disciplines i.e., welding, coatings, electrical, etc.
  • Experience in the Quality Assurance Audit process.
  • Five (5) years of related Quality/project experience.
  • Moderate interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Moderate leadership and decision-making skills.
Salary Range

92,500 to 162,500
