Job summary

Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley, CA is seeking an Inspector I for full-time, day-to-day QC inspections within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This entry-level trainee role requires attention to detail and adherence to cGMP standards.

You will inspect tablets, capsules, powders, liquids, packaging components, and labels, document results, and issue disposition instructions. The position includes second shift with a 5% differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Self-starter with ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, document and issue disposition instructions on production orders for tablets, capsules, powders, liquids and labels.
• Inspect and pre-approve production orders, batch records and related documents.
• Inspect products using AQL and release batches to Distribution if compliant.
• Investigate issues with Production and report root causes to Management.
• Coordinate with QA, Packaging and Manufacturing to ensure cGMP compliance.
• Assist in maintaining specification databases and quality tracking data.
• Support QC metrics and weekly activity reporting.
