About The Job

The QC Inspector will perform routine QA/QC product inspections, demonstrate knowledge of processes and codes, and ensure products conform to specified requirements. The role requires familiarity with QA/QC equipment and documentation, supporting the manufacturing process to maintain high-quality standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Communicate QA/QC requirements effectively
  • Ensure products meet/exceed standards and specifications
  • Perform NDE inspections and document findings
  • Maintain inspection documentation
  • Work efficiently to meet quality and quantity goals
  • Maintain reliable attendance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents and regulations
  • Mathematical skills including ratios, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and diagrams
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant education, training, and experience in inspection methods
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED, or related experience/training
  • Certification levels depend on points accumulated on the NWP QA Certification Rating Card:
    • 0–8 points = D (Entry level)
    • 9–15 points = C
    • 16–24 points = B
    • 25+ points = A
Certificates & Licenses
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required for levels A–C
  • NACE Certification preferred
