Job summary

Custom Staffing partners with a Marion, OH manufacturing company to recruit a QC Inspector for AHU assembly. This direct hire role involves hands-on inspection of highly customized units, ensuring mechanical assembly, piping, insulation, and electrical interfaces meet drawings and project requirements before advancing to FAT.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting custom AHUs, HVAC equipment, or similar Engineer-to-Order products.
• Experience with FAT, customer inspections, or shipment-release inspections.
• Familiarity with ITPs, NCRs, CAPA or root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, insulation, mechanical piping, and electrical panel interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Verify mechanical assembly, piping, insulation, electrical interfaces, finishes, and documentation against drawings and submittals.
• Participate in FATs and customer inspections to ensure compliance before release.
• Maintain clear, actionable records of inspection findings and non-conformances.
