Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Quality Inspector on 2nd Shift in Bethel, CT. The role is a temp-to-perm opportunity with training on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Pay: $22.40/hour ($20.00/hour plus 12% shift differential). Steel toe boots required. Responsibilities include creating certificates of compliance/analysis and inspecting products to specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with micrometers and calipers.
• Able to read and interpret prints and specifications.
• Proficient with Computers and MS Office.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Possess problem solving skills, exhibit written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create certificate of compliance/analysis for all products shipping to customer.
• Review customer requirements for certificate of conformance/analysis with engineers and customer service reps.
• Perform data entry/analysis.
• Inspect and analyze data per work instructions, inspection test masters, and specifications.
• Stamp/approve acceptable parts and complete paperwork as required.
• Keep accurate and legible inspection records.
• Demonstrate good housekeeping skills.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Schedule: Monday- Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
***Ability to train on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM***

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create certificate of compliance / analysis for all products that are shipping to customer.
• Interact with engineers and customer service representatives to review the customer requirement for certificate of conformance / analysis.
• Perform data entry/analysis.
• Perform inspection and analyze data required by work instructions, Inspection Test Masters, and specifications.
• Stamp or otherwise approve acceptable parts and complete paperwork as required.
• Keep accurate and legible inspection records.
