Job summary

A manufacturing company in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality of inbound and outbound materials. Daily responsibilities will include inspecting materials, implementing quality control procedures, and maintaining a safe work environment. Overview

• Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
• Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
• Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to enter data into report

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience
• Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
• Must be able to do simple math
• Ability to interpret technical product specs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)

Work Environment

• First Shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Work Environment: Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the work day.
• Safety boots required.
