Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a Quality Control inspector for Fort Hood, TX. The role inspects products and materials, conducts audits, and prepares quality plans in support of contract requirements.

Responsibilities include reporting, sampling checks, and scheduling inspections while upholding OSHA, NFPA, and safety standards. Travel up to 10% may be required in this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Up to 2 years of quality control experience or equivalent education.
• Certification: OSHA-related certification is required.

• Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements, and other services performed.
• Prepares reports, develops quality plans, attends meetings as directed; performs other duties as assigned.
• Checks randomly selectedsamples, andverifies accuracy of equipment or process.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures,complying withlegal regulations. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning and safety procedures with skills in conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, andproficiencywith standard testing tools.
• ISOLeadAuditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Knowledge of recognized andgenerally acceptedgood engineering practice regulations and codes.
• Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
