Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a QC Engineer to join its Quality Control team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will develop test automation, scripts, and QC processes to enhance testing efficiency and product quality across FortiGate hardware platforms.

The role requires 3+ years in network testing or manufacturing QA, strong networking knowledge, Linux scripting, and proficiency in Python/C/Perl. You will collaborate with R&D, FA, CM, and other teams to ensure on-time delivery and rigorous

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network testing, product validation, QA, or manufacturing testing.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture, hardware systems, and product validation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
• Proficient in PC hardware, OS, ports, and testing/debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation, scripting solutions, and QC processes to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with QA, FA, R&D, CM and cross-functional teams to investigate issues and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Validate burn-in test programs and ensure documentation, coverage, and stability.
• Perform manual and automated testing across hardware, software, and firmware; support NPI quality validation for FortiGate hardware.
