Job summary

Stanley Electric is seeking a Quality Control Engineer II for our Ohio facility to lead investigations into production quality issues and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data, implement corrective actions, and ensure packaging and processes meet stringent quality standards.

The role requires hands-on auditing, documentation, and mentoring of new engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in a manufacturing environment (Engineer III 4-7 years preferred)
• Experience in quality functions within automotive supplier industry is preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AIAG standards required

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and resolve production quality issues through audits and defect trend analysis
• Act as liaison between internal and external groups on quality issues
• Establish and track quality standards for consistency in production
• Prepare PQCTs using FMEA and GPAC-V to address failure modes
• Participate in process audits and monitor mold changes and deviations
• Document problem tracking and report monthly performance for the production area
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and implement plans
• Coordinate packaging trials to ensure quality packaging
