Job summary

CommScope is seeking two QA/QC Engineers to support data center infrastructure deployments in New Albany, Ohio. The role centers on inspecting rack deployments and fiber/copper installations, logging defects, and ensuring workmanship matches drawings and standards. This is an on-site, immediate-need position.

Ideal candidates will review installations against drawings, build punch lists, and drive issue resolution to closure, with strong attention to documentation and quality reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC for data center or telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to compare installations against drawings and standards.
• Experience with punch lists and defect tracking.
• On-site work in New Albany, OH.

QA/QC Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure | New Albany, OH

I'm looking for 2 QA/QC Engineers to join CommScope's data center team supporting Meta infrastructure deployments in New Albany.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how data center infrastructure is actually installed in the field and can confidently identify when something does not match the drawing, standard, or expected workmanship.

The work centers around:

• QA of rack deployments inside data halls
• Inspecting fiber + copper installs, labeling, polarity, cleanliness, and test results
• Reading rack elevations, layouts, pathways, and infrastructure drawings
• Inspecting prefabricated/offsite-built racks and modules before shipment
• Building punch lists, logging defects, and verifying corrections
• Photo documentation and quality reporting
• L1/L2 troubleshooting when needed
