Job summary

TekWissen is assisting a biotechnology client in Cincinnati with a temporary assignment for a Quality Control Scientist I. The role focuses on reviewing analytical data from QC laboratories, raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability studies.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/biology background, 2+ years in regulated environments, proficiency with HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and a strong commitment to GMP and data integrity; onsite First Shift, 12-month duration, pay $25

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related science field.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with data review and analytical testing.
• GMP regulations, Good Documentation Practices, and data integrity knowledge.
• QC laboratory or regulated testing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate scientific data.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to quality, safety, compliance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review analytical data, lab records and supporting documentation from QC labs.
• Review data from HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, dissolution testing and wet chemistry.
• Verify calculations, results, specs, instrument outputs and chromatograms.
• Ensure lab records comply with SOPs, GMP and data integrity standards.
• Identify errors and discrepancies; collaborate to resolve.
• Review data for raw materials, in-process, finished products and stability studies.
• Use LIMS and electronic systems to track data and sample status.
• Support investigations, deviations and OOS/OOT events as needed.
• Maintain traceable records per data integrity requirements.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
• Follow safety, quality, regulatory and site procedures.
