QC cum Scrum Master – Shared Data Warehouse Team
We are looking for an experienced QC cum Scrum Master to lead and manage the product development team of the Shared Data Warehouse. This warehouse enables the integration of various data types (structured, unstructured, files) for analysis using Superset BI reports and sharing with other systems. This position acts as a key bridge between the remote Product Manager and the on-site development team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Control (QC) – 40%
- Define and maintain quality standards for the product
- Develop testing processes
- Ensure input and output data quality
- Validate data integrity and accuracy within the warehouse
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Manage bug tracking and ensure timely resolution
- Lead and organize Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews)
- Manage the backlog and sprint planning on the internal Jira system
- Facilitate communication between the remote Product Manager, on-site Development Team, and BOD
- Remove blockers for the development team
- Monitor team velocity and report project progress
- Coach the team on Agile practices and continuous improvement
- Standardize workflows across frontend, backend, and database developers
- Set up and maintain Jira workflows based on best practices
- Ensure effective team communication
- Manage task timelines and resource allocation
- Organize team-building activities
Your skills and experienceEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in a QC/QA role
- 1+ year experience as a Scrum Master or Project Coordinator
- Proficient in Jira for project management and workflow configuration
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with high-tech on-premise products is a plus
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and BI tools (preferably Superset or similar) is an advantage
- Good reading comprehension of English technical documents
