Job summary

B. Braun Medical Inc. in Allentown, PA seeks a Chemist I to support analytical testing, method validation, and drug stability programs within a regulated lab.

You will work with QA, R&D, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field (Master's preferred), 4+ years in an analytical lab, and hands-on experience with HPLC/GC, Empower software, and method transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 4+ years analytical lab experience in regulated industries.
• Strong experience with HPLC and GC.
• Experience with Empower software and data analysis.
• Knowledge of FDA, USP, EP, ICH, ISO, and GMP requirements.
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and lab investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and stability samples.
• Lead drug stability studies: protocol execution, data review, and report generation.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC, GC, and related instrumentation.
• Lead method transfer, verification, and validation activities.
• Investigate OOS results and deviations, supporting CAPAs.
• Collaborate with QA, R&D, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to interpret data and prepare reports.
• Provide technical guidance to junior scientists and laboratory staff.
