Job description

QC Chemist II - DPI

Purpose:

The Chemist performs testing of samples using various techniques or equipment in the QC laboratory. The role may be modified based on department, group, education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine and advanced testing in a specific group or department.
  2. Operate specialized equipment and conduct specialized testing.
  3. Perform raw materials testing and release.
  4. Operate instruments such as Karl Fisher, HPLC, GC, Particle size analyzers, ICP.
  5. Lead investigation activities.
  6. Ensure compliance with data integrity, cGMP practices, and good documentation practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in physical sciences preferred.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong organizational, learning, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and scientific software.
  • Experience with inhalation products (MDI) is a plus.
  • Ability to wear PPE when required.
