Job summary

Dubois Chemicals seeks a Quality Assurance professional to provide technical and quality support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet quality specifications and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years wet chemistry testing experience.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in technical matters.
• Effective communication with personnel at multiple locations.
• Ability to lead quality assurance matters.
• Team-oriented with ability to excel in a group setting.
• Willingness to conduct internal quality audits 2–4 times per month with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Conduct line audits and support disposition decisions.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Plant Management, and EHS for product quality and safety.
• Provide technical support on waste minimization and environmental compliance.
• Use SPC methods for data collection, root cause analysis, and CAPA effectiveness.
• Perform other QA responsibilities as assigned by QA Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position provides technical and quality support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet established quality specifications and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include performing quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products; conducting line audits; supporting production with product adjustments and material disposition decisions; and collaborating closely with Production, Plant Management, Quality Assurance, and EHS teams to maintain product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employs safe work habits and complies with all applicable safety requirements

• Provide daily production support including testing, adjusting and disposition of raw materials, products and packaging in a Plant Lab.

• Works closely with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams and EHS to ensure overall quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant

• Provide technical support with regards to waste minimization, environmental compliance, and timely disposition of returns, discrepant product and materials

• Utilize SPC methods in data collection, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action effectiveness and cost saving/avoidance analysis

• Any other responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience

• Statistical Process Control, Data Analysis, PC skills

• Must have strong problem-solving abilities specifically in technical matters

• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel at multiple locations

• Must have the ability to take a leadership role in all Quality Assurance matters

• Must be able to excel in a team environment

• Must be available to conduct and support internal quality audits 2 to 4 times per month, including reviewing production activities, batch records, manufacturing documentation, and compliance with established quality procedures. Must be able to identify discrepancies, document findings, and work with production teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

ED UCATION QUALIFICATIONS**

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Related Science Degree
