About the Job

Location: Landrum

The role involves planning, scheduling, and managing QC & Assembly processes. You will assist in planning and directing efficient equipment layouts and material flow. Ensuring assembly performance, volume, and quality goals are met through efficient methods is key. The position also involves implementing corporate safety practices and ensuring all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all QC & Assembly operations focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Motivate, support, and guide staff members.
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained and supported.
  • Plan and execute efficient QC & assembly of finished goods within timelines.
  • Communicate daily targets and responsibilities to the team.
  • Maintain assembly schedules and track related documentation.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements in QC & assembly processes.
  • Address issues with completed parts and perform root cause analysis.
  • Follow escalation procedures for quality concerns.
  • Lead by example to promote high standards.
  • Manage hardware room operations, including hardware picking, stocking, and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and interface.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of management experience in QC, assembly, or manufacturing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and identify problems.
  • Strong team facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality and comfortable working on the production floor.
  • Proficiency with Teams, Sage, Excel, and label making.
  • Flexible schedule to support project deadlines.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
