Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Andover, MA is seeking a full-time laboratory supervisor to lead bioanalytical testing of protein and small molecule therapeutics. You will perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses, run RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, UV spectroscopy, prepare standards, and maintain equipment under cGMP and LIMS guidelines.

The role combines hands-on lab work with leadership duties: supervise and train team, ensure quality and efficiency, manage documentation, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
• 2-6 years of bioanalytical testing experience required.

Job Description

Laboratory :

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of protein and small molecule therapeutics
• Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to RP-UPLC, RP-HPLC, and UV spectroscopy
• Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment and other laboratory support activities
• Knowledge of cGMP and LIMS

Leadership :

• Support scientists with their experiments based on company protocol, method, and procedures
• Follow GLP/GMP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage and performance
• Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and developmentAdeptly balance technical lab work with leadership responsibilities
• Foster morale and teamwork

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
• 2-6 years of bioanalytical testing experience
• Understanding of industry practices and standards is required

• CEX and similar separation methods
• Compendial Assays
• Laboratory supervisory experience

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable range of Andover, MA are encouraged to apply.
