Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a laboratory professional to perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products and materials in a GMP-regulated Sanford, NC facility. You will manage testing priorities, operate instruments, and maintain compliant documentation to support site operations.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 2+ years in a lab, experience with HPLC/UPLC, UV-VIS, pH, TOC, osmolality and conductivity, and familiarity

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 2+ years of lab experience.
• Experience with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments.
• Hands-on analytical testing in a GMP environment.
• Knowledge of UV-VIS, HPLC/UPLC, pH, osmolality, TOC and conductivity.
• Strong data analysis and mathematical skills; ability to multi-task across projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently prioritize testing, operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, and ensure data accuracy with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Operations and interact with manufacturing, EHS, R&D, and external laboratories as needed.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, inventory management, and maintaining laboratory compliance.
• Utilize instruments such as UV-VIS, HPLC/UPLC, pH meters, Osmometers, TOC and conductivity per established procedures.
• Create, review, and approve GMP documentation (test records, validation protocols/reports, test methods, equipment records).

Job Description

This roleperforms routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, validation, stability, and process samples within a GMP-regulated laboratory.

• Independently managetesting priorities, operateand maintainanalytical instrumentation, evaluatedata for accuracy and compliance, and ensurecomplete and accurate documentation
• Collaborateclosely with Quality Operations and may interact with manufacturing, engineering, environmental health and safety, technical services, research teams, and external laboratories as needed
• Responsibilities also include supporting investigations, corrective actions, inventory management, material ordering, and maintaining laboratory compliance while delivering reliable, high-quality analytical results that support site operations
• Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures to include but not limited to appearance hoods, pH meters, conductivity meters, Solo VPE, Osmometers, UV-VIS, HPLC, UPLC, TOC and conductivity, and various other instruments
• Responsible for appropriate creation, review and approval of GMP documentation (test records, and as assigned validation protocols/reports, test methods, equipment records, etc.)

The site is not accessible by public transportation options

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, QC laboratory preferred.
• Experience working with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments
• Successful hands-on analytical testing experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
• Understanding and performing analytical testing and the use of analytical equipment: i.e. UV-VIS, HPLC, UPLC, pH, appearance, osmolality, TOC and conductivity
• Capability to perform complex mathematical problems and perform complex data analysis
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task across projects and activities
• Must be self-motivated and work with minimal direction

Preferred Experience:

• Empower 3, LIMS
• Demonstrate proficiency in computerized systems, such as Laboratory Information Management System

Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

Additional Information
