Job summary

Eurofins PSS is currently hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. This role also supports investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities, requiring high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

This permanent, full-time position lives near Albany, NY, with shifts described and comprehensive benefits; compensation is hourly with potential bonus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with GMP/GLP testing experience as described.
• One year of industry experience with LC, Conductivity and Titration.
• Proficiency with at least two of NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA.
• Solid knowledge of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods and specifications.
• Follow GMP regulations including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 and ICH guidelines.
• Test pharmaceutical samples including in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize various analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA.
• Reference standard qualification and management and review residual solvents.
