Lonza in Portsmouth, NH seeks a QC Analyst I, Microbial Control to support in-process testing and lot release activities in a cGMP environment. You will perform microbial testing, documentation, and data entry to ensure timely, compliant results that support manufacturing operations and customer programs.

The role is site-based with a 10-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday through Wednesday, with weekend pay differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry preferred.
• Laboratory or quality control experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and data interpretation essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform microbial testing supporting in-process, lot release, and stability studies.
• Support utility and HVAC environmental monitoring and sampling activities.
• Document and manage data using laboratory systems and MS Office.
• Apply data integrity principles per procedures and guidelines.
• Analyze test results and identify deviations when required.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality requirements.
• Carry out additional laboratory and quality-related duties as assigned.

Job Title: QC Analyst I, Microbial Control

Location: Portsmouth, NH

As a QC Analyst I, Microbial Control, you will play an important role in supporting the quality testing that helps bring life-changing therapies to patients. Working closely with the Quality Microbial Control team, you will perform testing, monitoring, and sampling activities while ensuring high-quality, on-time results that support manufacturing operations and customer programs.

This is a fully site-based role with a 10-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday - Wednesday. Includes weekend pay differential.

What you will do:

• Perform microbial testing supporting in-process, lot release, and stability studies
• Support utility and HVAC environmental monitoring and sampling activities throughout the facility
• Utilize laboratory computer systems and Microsoft Office applications to document and manage data
• Apply data integrity principles in compliance with company procedures and guidelines
• Analyze test results and identify deviations from established practices when required
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality requirements
• Perform additional laboratory and quality-related duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science field preferred
• Experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data accurately
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety
