Job summary

Tolmar is seeking a QC Analyst II to perform routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in a regulated laboratory environment. You will be trained in intermediate preparation techniques and analysis methods, while documenting activities per good documentation practices and maintaining instrument integrity.

The role emphasizes training junior staff, method transfers, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• 2+ years of analytical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on a variety of samples using standard preparation techniques and analysis methods.
• Train junior analysts in analysis methods as directed by management.
• Document all activities per good documentation practices and maintain records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of instrumentation and perform method transfers.
• Provide detailed reports of testing and support QC procedures with management.
