Job summary

Nucleus Biologics is seeking a QC Analyst I to perform routine environmental monitoring and water testing within a cGMP-regulated laboratory.

You will test raw materials, in-process samples and finished products, support deviation investigations, trend data, and maintain accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a QC lab, cleanroom gowning experience (ISO Class 7/8), Excel and LIMS familiarity, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced San Diego site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology, biology or related field.
• 1–3 years in a QC lab within a regulated industry.
• Cleanroom ISO Class 7/8 gowning experience.
• Familiarity with USP and cGMP requirements; exposure to ISO 9001/13485 is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental monitoring in classified areas (air, surface, personnel).
• Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products for specs.
• Support investigations of deviations and OOS results, documenting findings.
• Maintain compliant documentation and assist with audits and reports.
• Support trend reporting and inventory management in the QC lab.
