On-Board Services, Incorporated is seeking a QC Analyst in Newark, DE for a 1-year contract with potential for extension. The role focuses on routine testing of finished products, in-process samples, and raw materials in a chemistry lab to ensure product safety and compliance.

The position requires a High School Diploma (AS preferred) with GMP lab experience and familiarity with LIMS, along with strong analytical skills. Rotating 12-hour shifts include days and nights on-site.

Position Details

Title: QC Analyst

Position Type: 1 year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Job Location: Newark, DE

Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 36 or 48 hours per week, including days and nights

Compensation: $34-$40/HR

Position Overview

The QC Analyst I will be responsible for performing routine testing on finished products, in-process samples, and raw materials in the chemistry lab. This position provides analytical information to support the manufacturing process and ensure products meet specifications and consumer safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and consistently perform routine testing in the QC laboratory.
• Conduct testing in accordance with established SOPs.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Prepare and qualify reagents as required.
• Analyze and report test results through LIMS.
• Communicate and present test results and other pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
• Work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including both day and night shifts.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate of Applied Science degree in Chemical Technology, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience & Skills

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in a GMP laboratory or equivalent laboratory environment preferred.
• Chemistry laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures.
• Strong math and analytical skills, including the ability to perform calculations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
