The QA/QC Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for quality-related matters and will partner closely with project leadership, construction teams, design professionals, contractors, clients, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring a proactive approach to quality management, strong technical judgment, and the leadership skills necessary to drive accountability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the project-specific QA/QC program and quality management strategy.

Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters and provide guidance on quality standards, processes, and best practices.

Partner with project leadership, design disciplines, construction teams, contractors, and clients to establish and maintain project quality objectives.

Identify quality risks and deficiencies, perform or oversee root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformance and corrective-action processes through resolution.

Monitor quality performance and establish metrics and reporting to communicate trends, risks, deficiencies, and corrective actions to project leadership.

Ensure that project quality records, inspection and testing documentation, and turnover packages remain complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

Lead and mentor quality personnel while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the project team.

Integrate quality requirements into project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategies.

Provide technical leadership and sound judgment on complex quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, quality management, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of related quality, engineering, construction, or project management experience, preferably supporting large, complex construction programs.

Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC programs and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Experience supporting mission-critical, data center, advanced technology, healthcare, industrial, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of construction quality processes, including inspections, testing, nonconformance management, corrective actions, documentation, and applicable codes and industry standards.

Proven ability to identify quality risks, resolve complex issues, and drive corrective actions to completion.

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor teams and influence quality performance across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage field personnel, technical teams, clients, contractors, and senior leadership.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
