Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an IT Quality Assurance Senior Manager to lead a 50-person QA team for a NYS health exchange project.

You will drive the move from manual testing to automation-first practices and partner with NYSoH to deliver scalable quality improvements. You’ll own the automation roadmap, act as the technical authority on QA tooling, and build a rigorous upskilling program to move testers into automation roles while translating metrics into actionable

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and quality assurance experience.
• 5+ years leading QA organizations of 40+ resources with hiring and performance management.
• Experience architecting and executing a large-scale manual-to-automation transformation.
• Deep expertise with automation tooling, CI/CD, and large multi-tier architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Automation Transformation with a phased roadmap.
• Serve as technical authority for QA tooling and architecture; enable CI/CD integrations.
• Lead upskilling to convert manual testers into automation engineers.
• Establish baseline quality metrics and drive improvements for KPIs.
• Build trusted client and stakeholder partnerships around quality risks.
