Job summary

Volantsoft Inc. is seeking a QA Tester focusing on Dynamics 365 & Azure DevOps in Seattle, WA. Hybrid work arrangement with locals preferred.

The role involves creating and executing manual test cases, reporting weekly status, and logging bugs tied to PBIs and requirements within Azure DevOps. 5+ years of experience and strong collaboration with Analysts, Developers, and Project Management are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases based on project requirements.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and QA life cycles.
• Defect/test case management experience.
• Ability to communicate with Business Analysts, Developers and PMs.
• Decompose complex requirements into reusable test cases in Azure DevOps.

Role: QA Tester W Dynamics 365 & Azure Devops

Years of Experience: 5+ years

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) locals only

Need 5 Years Experience

Contractor will be responsible for manual testing within the project.

1. Creation of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s

2. Execution of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s

3. Creation of bugs associated to development efforts

4. Reporting of testing status to manager on a weekly basis

Key Deliverables

1. Contractor will deliver a weekly report containing the following:
2. a. Test Cases created with associated PBI’s/Requirements
3. b. Bugs created with associated PBI’s/Requirements
4. c. Current project impediments
5. d. Projected work for the upcoming week

Expectations

Key Skills:

• Ability to create, maintain, and execute test cases based on project requirements

• Deep understanding of both the SDLC and quality assurance life cycles.

• Deep understanding of defect management and test case management.

• Ability to effectively communicate with core disciplines of the project – Business Analysts, Developers, Project Management

• Proficient at decomposing complex requirements and PBI’s into well-structured, reuseable test cases within Azure DevOps

• Experience in testing highly integrated applications built in Dynamics 365/Power Apps

• Proficient in working within Azure DevOps

• Analytical problem solving – able to perform root-cause analysis on complex functionality

Experience:

• Experience with Dynamics 365 platform (3+ years)

• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum project with associated ceremonies (3+ years)

• Experience in test case creation, execution, and bug reporting in Azure DevOps (3+ years)

Nice to Have:

Assess-to-Collect (A2C) solution on D365

Resources will be expected to be able to ingest current project requirements, create applicable manual test cases, perform execution of test cases, and create bugs based on test outcomes. Test creation/execution will be performed manually on Dynamics applications with complex functionality involving both property assessments and collected revenues. At the end of each week, resources will create a report with key deliverables listed above.
