Job summary

Voldex, a leading Roblox gaming studio, is hiring a QA tester for Driving Empire. You will test across LIVE and QA environments on multiple platforms, reproducing issues with thorough materials and aligning with the player perspective.

You will collaborate with the QA Lead to plan tests and communicate findings clearly, helping ensure smooth releases. A strong Roblox background and 40+ hour work week are expected.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Ability to clearly present complex information.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work and communicate with people at all levels.
• Full-time availability (40+ hours per week) and age 18+.

Responsibilities

• Test Driving Empire in LIVE and QA environments across devices, ensuring coverage.
• Reproduce and document issues with logs, screenshots, and steps.
• Test from a player experience perspective reflecting Brookhaven’s community voice.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans with QA Lead.
• Communicate progress, risks, and results with teammates for coverage.

Driving Empire is one of the leading driving games on Roblox, and every update matters. You’ll think like a player, test like a creator, and partner closely with developers and artists to make sure every new feature, vehicle, and update delivers a great player experience.

What You’ll Do

• Test Driving Empire in both a LIVE and QA environment across Mobile, Tablet, PC, and Console, ensuring comprehensive coverage & that issues are identified early
• Reproduce and document issues with complete supporting materials (logs, screenshots, reproduction steps)
• Conduct testing from a player-experience perspective, representing Brookhaven’s community voice
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to create and execute comprehensive test plans which anticipate issues ahead of release
• Work closely with other QA testers by communicating progress, risks, and test results clearly to ensure effective coverage across tests

Who You Are

• Proficient in written and spoken English communication
• Experience as an active player on the Roblox platform with a strong understanding of Roblox player behaviour
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, issues, or things that don’t look right
• Ability to clearly and concisely present complex information in an understandable way
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Able to remain focused and methodical when approaching repetitive or high-volume tasks
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Ability to work full-time (40+ hours per week)
• Be 18 years of age or older

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working on Roblox games professionally
• Prior experience working in QA
