Job Title: QA Tester - Automation Engineer

Job Location: Brentwood, TN (Hybrid - Onsite 3 days/month)

Duration: Long term

Key Technologies: BDD, Selenium, Maven, TestNG, JIRA, Databases

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automation suites including UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Perform manual and automated QA testing.
  • Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end workflows and data requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, and enhance automation suites accordingly.
  • Conduct comprehensive regression testing.
  • Understand SDLC and project lifecycle thoroughly.
  • Define test strategies with developers, testers, and business teams.
  • Execute performance, functional, and regression tests on integrated systems.
  • Contribute to the existing Test Automation framework.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 6+ years in software testing and automation.
  • 4+ years of experience with test frameworks in Java and C#.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, Maven, and TestNG.
  • 2+ years working with relational databases (SQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with RESTful JSON APIs, SoapUI, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BDD, Gherkin, and step definitions.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
