Job summary

A software solutions company is seeking a QA Tester in St. Louis with expertise in web service testing, automation tools, and Agile methodologies. The position involves utilizing tools like SoapUI Pro, Selenium, and Jenkins for both automated and manual testing. Knowledge of SQL and UNIX commands is beneficial. This role is integral for validating software installations to meet quality standards, adapting to dynamic testing environments, and ensuring the functionality of APIs and web services. This is a 6-month contract leading to a hire.

Qualifications

• Prior experience utilizing SoapUI Pro or similar tool for web service testing.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, JBehave, and Appium.
• General knowledge of UNIX commands, SQL, and Toad.
• Experience using CI tools such as Maven, GIT, and Jenkins.
• Broad understanding of Agile Software Engineering Concepts and Testing Methodologies.
• Strong knowledge and prior experience testing web services/APIs.
