A staffing and consulting agency is seeking a QA Tester for a contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in QA testing and be responsible for leading test processes, managing defect tracking, and training team members on Quality Center. The role involves creating schedules and reporting on test progress. This is a 6+ month contract with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing kick-off meeting.

• Setup and loading of test scripts into Quality Center
• Training of how to use Quality Center
• Provide input into the UAT communication(s)
• Manage defect tracking and re‑assign the testing tasks, as required. Verify reported issues before assigning for resolution
• Reporting. Track testing with respect to the test plan and the project schedule and report to project team
• Check the status of each assigned task daily and resolve any issues faced by the team members with their tasks

QA Tester

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a QA Tester for a contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI.

• Plan, organize and lead the testing kick‑off meeting
• Establish and document the testing process – i.e. scripts location, how to report defects, what needs to be included when reporting defects, the overall testing process with roles and responsibilities
• Create the test schedule (tasks, dependencies and assigned team members)
• Administer the project in the test management system
• Work with RA IT and Marketing to create Testing scripts for User Acceptance Testing
• Setup and loading of test scripts into Quality Center
• Training of how to use Quality Center
• Provide input into the UAT communication(s)
