Incomplete or unqualified submissions will not be considered.Our client is seeking an experienced QA Tester to support a critical SharePoint & Portal modernization project. This role involves comprehensive manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in QA methodologies, comfortable working onsite, and proficient with tools like qTest, JIRA, Selenium, and SQL.Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of QA experience testing complex, customer-facing applications
- Strong knowledge of testing tools such as qTest, JIRA, Selenium, or UFT
- Solid experience in backend testing, data mapping, and ETL validation
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and execute complex queries and stored procedures
- Hands-on experience testing SharePoint Portals, web services, and APIs
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience conducting ADA testing is preferred
- Familiarity with native mobile app testing and cross-platform mobile QA
- Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases from specs or verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and tools like ALM
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Must be willing to work onsite and travel within the DFW area if required
- Flexibility to work late hours or weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience testing usability, accessibility, and user experience flows
- Familiarity with automation test scheduling and execution from test management tools
- Knowledge of microservices and cloud-based environments
Key Responsibilities:- Design, document, and execute test cases for web, desktop, and mobile applications
- Review business and technical documentation to ensure complete test coverage
- Conduct testing across front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems
- Perform ADA accessibility checks (contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, etc.)
- Execute backend testing involving large datasets, data transformations, and ETL workflows
- Define and automate test cases; schedule and run automation scripts from the test management tool
- Test across various devices including tablets and mobile phones
- Provide usability feedback and help refine user experience based on testing outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and clarify requirements
- Maintain accurate records of testing outcomes and report quality issues promptly
- Participate in QA planning and process improvements
