ZipStaff is seeking a QA Tester to join an embedded Agile product team in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on manual testing of digital applications, validating complete customer and co-worker journeys across systems and integrations.

Responsibilities include reviewing requirements and test coverage, creating detailed test cases, executing various test types, and tracking defects through resolution in a fast-paced environment.

• 3+ years of hands-on manual software testing or QA experience preferred.

Overview

ZipStaff is hiring a QA Tester for our client, a major Midwest utility. You will join an embedded Agile product team to plan and execute manual testing of digital applications and validate complete customer and co-worker journeys across systems and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to determine test coverage.
• Write and execute detailed manual test cases and scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; retest fixes.
• Validate business rules, data flows, and integrations across multiple applications.
• Participate in Agile team activities and support production release validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on manual software testing or QA experience preferred.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases and scenarios.
• Experience with functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
• Experience documenting, tracking, retesting, and closing defects.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment.
• Hands-on experience with Zephyr Scale, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
